Learning to use correct punctuation.

I found this activity fun because I got to put my family in it. I liked including similes to make my writing more interesting. I found it tricky to make my punctuation correct. My next step with making sure all my punctuation more correct is to think about my editing more.

Learning to write a descriptive hook.

I found this activity tricky because I had to think of all the adjectives I could use. I am proud of the adjectives that I put in. My next step with using a descriptive hook is to use some more interesting adjectives.

Learning to draw a giraffe and blend using pastels.

My favourite part about making my giraffe was painting the background. I am proud of blending my pastel colours in the leaves.

Learning to write an use adjectives in my writing.

I wrote this poem after we watched a video about adjectives in class. I first thing that helped me was my plan. I thought of some adjectives that I could use to describe my animal. My favourite part of writing this was writing and publishing this on type drawing and Miss B-C helping me choose my animal. My next step with using adjectives in my writing is to describe them and connect them more.

I created a for sale advertisement using my knowledge of the crocodile character traits. I found this activity fun because I liked making the for sale sign. I am proud of using the book to help me. My next with character traits is to use more detail when I am describing a character.

I use a different language features  to make my writing cool.  I used a bossy voice  for my story so it could be a scary hook. I thought it was a little bit hard because I din't know what  to say.Next time i should do more planning.

I am learning to skip count with multiplication problems. I found it easy because I am good at my multiplication.My next step is to use skip counting with other numbers.

I have been learning to play Mary Had a Little Lamb. I like learning to play the recorder because I like putting my fingers on the holes and playing Mary Had a Little Lamb.

I have used describing words to write a diamante poem.
I found it tricky to find describing words. I am proud of or I enjoyed making my diamante poem. My next step is to use more describing words in my writing.

Learning to recognise language features

I looked at my book Nelson is kidnapped and I found some different language features like antonyms and synonyms. I found it tricky to find the synonyms and antonyms. I liked using poppet so that I could see a brainstorm of what I am learning. My next step is to find more antonyms and synonyms. 

Leaning to make connections.

I did my popplet on the story cat chocolate. I found it fun because I like to go on popplet. I could link this book to my book I have read at home called grumpy cat. 

My Bucket

I named my bucket Fidgety because when I hold my bucket he always fidgets. I like making my bucket because I liked cutting and gluing. I am proud of my bucket because I put a lot of effort into it.

Writing my events in order.

I found writing my events in order was easy because I like writing and I remembered what happened. I found making the comic fun because I liked making the comic.

Learning to skim and scan to summarise.

I found this activity tricky because I didn't know what questions to ask. Next time I would like to draw a picture with it. It will help me to practice this with more books.

Using a Number Line to Add

I was learning number lines to do adding.  It was quite tricky because I didn't know what to do.  I need to keep practising.

Learning my basic facts.

I have been using mathletics to help my with my basic facts.

I think that the answer will be six because if I put 14 in my head and count backwards by eight then I will end up at six. 

I like using mathletics because it helps me to get better at my maths by getting me to do all of these hard questions that I don't know. I also like versing people in the world challenges.
