Overall I thought doing this project was fun because I like reading, especially reading about sport.
My favourite part was answering the questions because I do know a lot about running and sport so I had heaps of answers.

Learning to talk about character traits.

I created a for sale advertisement using my knowledge of the crocodile character traits. I found this activity fun because I liked making the for sale sign. I am proud of using the book to help me. My next with character traits is to use more detail when I am describing a character. 

Learning to recognise suffixes.

Learning to recognise language features

I looked at my book Nelson is kidnapped and I found some different language features like antonyms and synonyms. I found it tricky to find the synonyms and antonyms. I liked using poppet so that I could see a brainstorm of what I am learning. My next step is to find more antonyms and synonyms. 

Leaning to make connections.

I did my popplet on the story cat chocolate. I found it fun because I like to go on popplet. I could link this book to my book I have read at home called grumpy cat. 

Learning to skim and scan to summarise.

I found this activity tricky because I didn't know what questions to ask. Next time I would like to draw a picture with it. It will help me to practice this with more books.
